This guide helps you locate your document, recover access to the link, and understand what to do if the link no longer works.
To find your document
Start by identifying where the document was sent:
If the document was sent via email:
- Check your email inbox
- Check Spam/Junk folders
- Search using keywords:
- “Signify”
- “Document”
If the document was sent via SMS:
- Check your SMS messages
- Use your phone’s search and enter:
- “Signify”
- “Document”
Locate the message that contains the document access link.
What if I deleted the link (SMS or Email)?
If you no longer have access to the original message:
- Contact the Signify Support team and ask them to resend the message - you will receive the same access link again
- Or contact the sending company and ask them to resend it
What if the document still doesn’t open?
If you found the link but the document does not open:
- The link may be expired or no longer valid
In this case, contact the sending company directly and request a copy
What happens if the document link expires?
- You will no longer be able to open the document using the link
- The document will not appear in your account, even if you create a Signify account later
- After registration, only newly received documents will be visible
Access expiry date and contract validity
Access expiration date applies only to document access on the Signify platform - meaning the ability to open the document via link. It does not determine the legal validity period of the agreement itself, which depends entirely on the content and terms of the document. To clarify the validity period of the contract, please consult a legal advisor.
