You received a document for signing, but do you believe another person should sign it instead? Signify allows you to forward the document to the appropriate person so that the process remains uninterrupted.
Steps to forward a Document
Open the received document from your email, mobile device, or directly from the platform if you have an account
Select Forward from the menu
In the pop-up window, enter the Name/Surname and Email address of the person who should actually sign the document
- If desired, add a short comment for the new recipient so they know the reason for the redirection
Confirm the action by clicking the Forward button
Make sure to note:
- In some cases, the sender may have disabled this feature
- After redirecting the document, you lose the right to sign it, though you can still track its status
Management & Additional Actions
- View History: After forwarding, a record will appear in the document's Audit Trail, showing who forwarded the file and when
- Cancellation: If you forwarded the document by mistake, contact the document owner so they can resend the document to you
