If you are waiting for a one-time SMS code to open or sign a document, or log in to Signify and it hasn’t arrived, follow these steps to identify the cause and resolve the issue quickly.
Troubleshooting Steps
- Verify your phone number: Contact the document sender and ask them to double-check if your mobile number was entered correctly.
- Check your connection: Ensure your device has a stable cellular signal. Network delays can sometimes cause messages to lag.
- Check Roaming: If you are currently abroad, ensure that roaming services are active on your device.
- Resend the code: If the code hasn't arrived within 1–2 minutes, click the "Resend Code" button.
- Reboot your phone
Check Spam Filters
- For iOS: Open the Messages app, tap "Filters" in the top-left corner, and check the Spam or Unknown Senders folders.
- For Android: Open Messages, tap the menu/profile icon, and go to the Spam & blocked section.
