This guide explains how to add an extra layer of security to your documents and use various authentication methods to verify your recipients' identities.
How to Enable Authentication Methods
During the document preparation process, click the Authentication button next to the desired recipient. Choose when the system should require authentication: Upon opening the document or Upon signing.
- Choose the preferred authentication type from the list:
- SMS Code: The recipient receives a one-time code on their mobile phone, which they must enter to complete the action.
- Video Identification: The user undergoes verification via a video selfie and a scan of their ID card or passport.
- Qualified Electronic Signature: Signing is performed using an ID card/Company E-Stamp and a special card reader.
- Password: The recipient is required to enter a password predefined by you to open the document.
If you select Video Identification or Qualified Electronic Signature, you can input a specific individual's Personal Number or a company’s Identification Code. Signify will automatically verify the data, ensuring only the specified person or company has the right to sign. Since Signify handles the validation, you no longer need to manually verify if the correct person signed the document.
Once the document is signed, the Audit Trail will reflect which authentication method was used for verification. In the case of Video Identification, you will also have access to the specific data verified during the process.
